Not about fortune and fame. Just to stay sane.
OneSoul Lost is an independent alternative rock project built on a lifetime of experiences, raw emotions, and an unwavering passion for music.
The journey began at just 11 years old, when founder and songwriter Wade Putnam first picked up a guitar. What started as a childhood interest quickly grew into something much more. By high school, he was writing original songs, performing onstage, and discovering the power of turning thoughts and emotions into music.
Throughout his late teens and twenties, Wade continued developing his musical identity, performing as a guitarist and vocalist in local bands. Those early years helped shape his appreciation for different genres, musical arrangements, and the connection between an artist and an audience.
But life has a way of changing the road we travel.
As family, career, and responsibilities took priority, music gradually moved into the background. The passion never disappeared, but for nearly two decades, the songs remained largely unwritten and the stage lights faded into memories.
In 2026, that changed.
OneSoul Lost wasn't where the journey began. It's where the journey found its way back.
Drawing from more than twenty years of life experiences, musical influences, personal struggles, relationships, and hard-earned perspective, Wade returned to songwriting with a deeper understanding of himself and the stories he wanted to tell.
His music explores the complicated realities of being human: love, anger, isolation, temptation, heartbreak, resilience, and the constant battle between darkness and hope.
Rather than confining himself to a single sound, OneSoul Lost blends elements of alternative rock, hard rock, acoustic melodies, and atmospheric arrangements. Each song takes shape around the emotion and story behind it.
As an independent artist, Wade embraces modern music-production technology, including AI-assisted tools, to bring his compositions and lyrical ideas to life. Serving as his virtual backing band and production studio, these tools allow him to explore arrangements and musical directions while maintaining creative control over his songwriting, lyrics, and artistic vision.
The debut album, Emotional Overload, releasing November 13, 2026, represents more than a collection of songs. It's the culmination of years of experiences, emotions, and a creative voice rediscovered.
For Wade, OneSoul Lost isn't about chasing celebrity status or commercial success. It's about expression, connection, and finding an outlet for the things that aren't always easy to say.
The music may have been quiet for years, but the story never stopped.
This is OneSoul Lost.
